Angela P. HassAngela P. Hass, Huron County 4-H'er

Vice-President,
Fidelity National Financial

“4-H teaches leadership. 4-H fosters confidence. 4-H rewards good, hard work. 4-H encourages an individual to try new things and [that] leaders should not be discouraged.”

Since 1974 Angela P. Hass has managed corporate financial issues for six major American corporations including GTE, Shugart Corporation (a division of Xerox), New Balance Athletic Shoes, Coopers & Lybrand Accounting Consultants, and A.T. Kearney. Today she is vice-president of finance for Fidelity Investments. As a corporate controller, industrial engineer, materials controller and auditor, and in other financial roles, Hass is credited with improving corporate efficiencies and identifying significant cost savings. She has also worked as a consultant for many international companies improving operations and accounting processes for organizations in Finland, Germany, England, Scotland, Hong Kong and Japan.

Hass continues to support the Huron County 4-H Leaders Association and their work in 4-H youth leadership development with both her philanthropy and volunteerism. She is also a community volunteer and donor to such causes as Walk Boston, which promotes safe walking in the city, and Senior Services of Cambridge. She received the Tower Award for being one of the top 50 graduating women at Michigan State University.
